About me.

👋 Hi. My name is Jamie McDonald. I’m a software engineering leader. I support the Core Banking collective at Monzo.

👨‍💻 I started down the engineering manager path in 2019, after a decade of building mobile apps like SoundCloud, Songkick, The Guardian, and Deliveroo. I gravitate towards building cross-functional product engineering teams.

🏃 I’m also a keen distance runner. I’ve completed all 6 of the major marathons and I run ~3 each year. Right now, I’m on the long road back to Boston qualifying pace.
