👋 I’m Jamie McDonald. I lead engineering for the Core Banking collective at Monzo. This is my personal blog.

👨‍💻 My focus is building cross-functional teams and shipping consumer software products at scale. Before I was managing teams, I spent a decade developing mobile apps like SoundCloud, Songkick, The Guardian, and Deliveroo.

🏃‍♂️ I’m also a keen distance runner. I’ve completed over a dozen marathons (including all 6 majors) and I’m forever working towards repeating that elusive sub-3 hour time.
